7 Operation on a VDSL Access

7.1 Setting the VDSL Interface and Access Mode

Use the included xDSL cable to connect the ARGUS (Line jack) to the access to be tested

and then switch the ARGUS on. Which initial display is now shown will depend on which

access setting was made last on this ARGUS:

The Access Menu:

As access, select VDSL;

the selected access type,

VDSL, will be marked in

blue.

The VDSL access type marked in blue

will be used. The Access mode menu

will open.

The ARGUS will use the access mode

marked in blue (in this example, 

VTU-R). The State display will open.

Access Mode Menu:

Select an Access mode; the

selected mode will be marked

blue (in this example, VTU-R).
